A Visit to Xiang’an Factory Paid By DELL American Procurement Team

On May 5, 2018, DELL American procurement team visited KIM Packaging’s Xiang’an Factory for an Inspection. During the visit, they received warm welcome from KIM’s core team members — Huang Guosheng, chairman of KIM, Michelle, manager of KIM Malaysia branch office, Tony, sales R & D director, Chen Qunjia, business director, ect.

Tony introduced KIM’s recent conditions and its future development planning at the meeting. He also emphasized that for Kim, DELL is its most important customer. “so to speak, the two company have witnessed each other’s growth.” he said, “KIM’s business with DELL traces back to the 20 years ago when KIM started its supply of documents to DELL in 1999. Later KIM successively started supply of DELL mouse pad on a global scale in 2005, DELL monitor cushioning packaging in 2009, DELL Malaysia packaging products in 2017. Now the sales volume of business concerning DELL brand shares almost 50% of KIM’s total. KIM is looking forward to being DELL’s strategic supplier, continuing a long-term cooperation and development with DELL.”

Abelia, DELL American procurement senior manager expressed that DELL places high emphasis on environmental protection. It is advisable that supplier should proactively participate in R&D of eco-friendly packaging materials. She also showed her affirmative attitude towards KIM’s design of eco-friendly monitor cushioning packaging.

By the close of the tour, she gave the high praise to KIM’s factory and said that” I am full of confidence in your future development. Let’s continue our long-term cooperation to achieve mutual benefit!”
